You're pretty awesome. I'm not quite sure how you do it. You've done so much for us, and you've accomplished so much yourself. We're all proud of you and the work you do.
You've always been a fun dad. You made up some pretty good stories and you always played good games with us. You became a pro at Barbies and baby dolls. You taught us all how to swim and ride our bikes, but really what you taught us was how to be a good person. You taught us about working hard and how sometimes you can't get what you want right away, but if you're patient, you will be rewarded.
It's been fun to watch you with Jacob. And even though you're far away, it's clear that he still thinks you're pretty awesome, too.
But I hope you already knew that.
