We're best buddies!
Yesterday we took Jacob for his one-month check-up. He's weighing in at a healthy 10lbs, 10oz; and measuring 21 1/2 inches long. As my cousin Beth posted on Facebook, "What are you expressing? Buttermilk?" It seems that way! Jay also got his second round of his Hep B shots, and he did really well with that. He cried a little when he got stuck with the needle, but then he calmed right back down again. He also then slept for the remainder of the day -- poor little guy was worn out.
Things we can do:
- hold our head up for longer periods of time
- "sit" with mom and dad (propped up by pillows)
- sleep for 4-5 hours without needing to be fed
- coo, gurgle, and "talk" to mom and dad
All good things! Can't wait for that first smile -- which he's very close to doing!
